A Valley City woman's burglary charges have been dropped

Valley City, ND (WDAY TV) -- Charges have been dropped against a Valley City woman accused of a burglary spree in Barnes County.
Police say Kapaun part of a theft ring including 37-year-old Steven Hovland from Valley City, and 32-year-old Broc Buytaert and 31-year-old Betsy Runkle, both from Rochester, Minnesota.
25-year-old April Kapaun pleaded not guilty to two felonies and one misdemeanor. Authorities say the 4 stole around 20-thousand dollars worth of items in a burglary spree this summer.
So far, authorities recovered about half of the stolen property.
