40th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade brings attention to a local clinic

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- As we inch closer to the 40th Anniversary of Roe versus Wade, the Red River Women's Clinic is getting more and more attention.

    Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- As we inch closer to the 40th Anniversary of Roe versus Wade, the Red River Women's Clinic is getting more and more attention.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- As we inch closer to the 40th Anniversary of Roe versus Wade, the Red River Women's Clinic is getting more and more attention.

It's the only place in North Dakota where women can get an abortion. The clinic terminates more than 12 hundred pregnancies each year, offering surgical and medical abortions.

Each Wednesday, when procedures are performed, the clinic draws a small crowd of people praying, or holding signs. Others quietly usher women into the front entrance.

The clinic has been the target of break-ins, contentious protests and fire bombings.
