Moorhead City council may be getting a new look

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- The city known for having long standing council members and mayors, will have a new look come next year. A Moorhead Council member says 2013 will be a dramatic year at the polls.

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- The city known for having long standing council members and mayors, will have a new look come next year. A Moorhead Council member says 2013 will be a dramatic year at the polls.

In 34 years, it'll be just the 3rd time the city has a new mayor. So far Council member Mark Hintermeyer is the only person who looks set to run for the seat, while a few other members left the option open, but said it's too early to decide.

4 council seats will also be up for election. Right now out of the 8 members 6 have been there for fewer than 4 years.
