9-month-old girl is in critical condition after family's SUV goes through the ice

Lake Minnetonka, MN (WDAY TV) -- A 9 month-old girl is in critical condition after her family's S-U-V went through the ice on Lake Minnetonka.

Lake Minnetonka, MN (WDAY TV) -- A 9 month-old girl is in critical condition after her family's S-U-V went through the ice on Lake Minnetonka.

The girl is now at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. The Hennepin County Sheriff says about 5 last night, a 41 year old father was driving his 31 year old wife, 2 year old daughter and baby girl home from a restaurant,

when he decided to take a shortcut across the ice.

The sheriff says there are indications the driver was drinking, although tests results are not in.
