(WDAY TV) -- Some serious allegations made in a court document connected to the Tara Andvik arson case.

It is part of an appeal by the Barnesville woman. A jury last spring found Andvik guilty of setting multiple fires at her rural Barnesville farm.

The 35- year old Andvik is serving out her sentence in Shakopee. In court documents obtained by WDAY today, a twin cities lawyer representing Andvik is seeking a new trial for Andvik, alleging her husband Matt, or a neighbor, had motive and opportunity to set the fires.

This despite the confession from Tara in court that she was the arsonist. The appeal filing also argues Tara Andvik had ineffective counsel, and the case had to much pre-trial publicity.
