Force keep looking up

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- If you've ever watched 2 great runners in a two-mile race, one runner always seems to be running off the others hip, and a majority of the time that person ends up winning.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- If you've ever watched 2 great runners in a two-mile race, one runner always seems to be running off the others hip, and a majority of the time that person ends up winning.

The Force are hoping that strategy works for them, they've been sitting in 2nd or 3rd place for the last couple of months staring up at first place Sioux Falls.

Entering tonight's series with Tri-City, Fargo is 4 points behind the Stampede. And the team says, that's okay with them.

Gabe Guertler, Force forward, says, "It helps us out, we can't be to cocky cause we are not in first place. Being in second or third kind of helps us to have more motivation to win games."

Dave Gust, Force forward, says, "After Christmas I feel like we always turn it on and we have that extra gear. These next couple months you want to end good so you can get a good ranking and try and make the playoffs."
