97-year-old Underwood, ND, man charged with sex crimes

UNDERWOOD, N.D. — An Underwood man is accused of sexually abusing several young women over more than 25 years.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/XeVCbb) that 87-year-old Carl Loose Jr. was charged Wednesday with two counts of felony gross sexual imposition, two counts of felony gross sexual imposition and one count of felony attempted gross sexual imposition. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

According to court documents, Loose is accused of inappropriately touching an intoxicated woman in 2012, a 5-year-old girl in 1988, and an 8-year-old girl in 1987 to 1989.

He also is accused of attempting to lure a 12-year-old girl into his home on Sept. 28.
