Fargo-Moorhead (WDAY TV) - The F-M Metro COG needs your help figuring out what to do with land left over from buyouts in Moorhead.

There is between 160 and 170 acres near the river that are now public property. Metro COG is taking input from the community, asking what you'd like to see done with the land. It can't be developed commercially, or residentially.

Metro COG is looking at low-maintenance options, like bike trails, parks, benches, or camping. Right now, it hasn't set a budget.

Wade Kline: “Certainly it would be a mix of public funds, whether it be property taxes, special assessments, utility fees, there are other state and federal sources that could be tapped.”

If you have an idea, you can submit it at the group's website, FMMetroCog.org
