Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo middle schoolers got a hands on science lesson coming all the way from St. Paul's Science Museum.
The Science Museum sent an instructor to Carl Ben Eielson Middle School as part of its first region tour. The presentation's goal aimed at teaching students about brain activity and energy.
Sixth and seventh graders got the chance to use large props and interactive objects, like optical illusion goggles and balance tests, all showing them how the brain works.
Katie Urban – Museum Instructor: “That piece is the best. We all love being out of the office and coming to these tours because the kids get so engaged. It's the most fun teaching I’ve done in 20 years and it's really a fun piece for all of the kids, and the teachers too.”
The tour will travel to several schools in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
