Fargo-Moorhead (WDAY TV) - Public health nurses in our area continue to remind families that babies and school aged children need flu vaccinations along with adults.

While pharmacies in our area do offer flu shots, they only give them to adults. Our local clinics in town tell us that there is still a good supply of vaccine for children, although in some part of the region, the vaccine used for babies is running low.

Still, public health officials advise families to get children vaccinated.

Kathy Anderson – Clay County Public Health: “Parents that have infants less than 6 months of age should make sure that they are immunized, as well as their childcare provider, grandparents anyone who has contact with that baby.”
