Packer girls ready for stretch run

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The top of the EDC girl’s basketball race will be tight all season long between number one ranked Shanley and last year's runner up West Fargo.

The Packers have picked up where last year ended, off to a 6-1 start and now have confidence and experience in their corner for this season.

Lexi Lennon – West Fargo Senior Forward: “We all know that we could probably push each other a little bit more in practice, just because that little extra effort is gonna get you a long ways. We just have that memory stuck in our heads and we just want to get back there.”

Christine Baltezore – West Fargo Senior Guard: “I think our chemistry is really coming together this year and because we are more of a family we should be able to go really far this year.”

Barb Metcalf – West Fargo Head Coach: “I think the experience is huge for our kids. They are really molding into a unit that is embracing that tradition that we started last year.”
