North Dakota soldiers beginning year of duty in Afghanistan
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Eight North Dakota Army National Guard soldiers are beginning a year of duty in Afghanistan.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Eight North Dakota Army National Guard soldiers are beginning a year of duty in Afghanistan.
A send-off ceremony was scheduled Wednesday for the members of the Bismarck-based Detachment 42 Organizational Support Airlift unit.
The soldiers will be providing aerial surveillance for troops on the ground in Afghanistan.
