Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- After starting out the Summit League season 6-0, including a win over perennial power Oakland last night, as well as preseason number one, South Dakota State, it seemed the sky was the limit for the Bison men's basketball team.

However, that sky may be falling...hard! According to the Forum's Jeff Kolpack, Bison forward Taylor Braun will be out 4 to 6 weeks after breaking a bone in his foot in last night's win over Oakland.

Braun may have hurt his foot in the 2nd half when he landed on the in-house cameraman after this layup. Braun was first team Summit League last year. This season, he was leading NDSU in steals and scoring, and was 2nd in assists. Saul Phillips hopes to have his best player back by the Summit League tourney, but says for now, the show must go on.

Coach Saul Phillips says, "rather than go "woe is me" and panic right now, I think what we'll do is handle it like men and continue to play. We got a good team here, we're 15-3, top 40-50, 45 in nation, whatever it is. We're doing something phenomenal here."
