NEW SALEM, N.D. (AP) — A New Salem woman faces a felony child abuse charge for allegedly breaking the arm of an infant for whom she was providing care.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that a warrant has been issued for 36-year-old Kyann McLaughlin. Court documents do not list an attorney for her and she did not immediately respond to an Associated Press request for comment.

McLaughlin is accused of injuring the 7-month-old child in December at her in-home, unlicensed day care.
