NDSU students successful in personal budget goal for Frisco trip

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A group of NDSU students isn't just celebrating a national championship, but the success of an economical trip to Frisco.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A group of NDSU students isn't just celebrating a national championship, but the success of an economical trip to Frisco.

Ian Godfrey and friends had a goal of traveling from Fargo to Frisco, cheaply.

The budget was $50 for gas, $52 for the game ticket, $10 for the pep rally ticket and three nights at Hampton Hotels for $66 a person. Throw in $100 for food and the goal was $300 a person.

They did it for about $250 per person. Way under budget.

It probably won't take this group long to pay back their student loans, when the time comes.
