Bismarck, ND (WDAY TV) - After Governor Jack Dalrymple's state of the state address to North Dakota, democrats weighed in on what needs to be done this legislative session.

House Minority Leader, Kenton Onstad says there's a lot of excitement right now in the state of North Dakota, but this session, policy makers need to put their decisions together, and come up with solutions.

Kenton Onstad, (D) House Minority Leader: "It's exciting, but I want to remind everyone that it's the policy makers now who have to take this vision. We have to put those competing ideas on the table and then we can come up with a good compromise. If everyone is willing to compromise and that's why I'm looking forward to the session.”

Onstad says the two reasons why families aren't able to move to North Dakota are housing and daycare.
