North Dakota has a record 44 work-related deaths in 2011

(WDAY TV) -- The U.S. Department of Labor says North Dakota recorded a record 44 work-related deaths in 2011.
The agency says that was up from 30 work-related deaths in 2010.

An employee of Buhler Industries, 49-year old Noren Ellinson, suffered
a traumatic brain injury, after a bin fell on him
August 16th. He died 2-days later.
Fatal occupational injuries in the state were at the lowest level in 1992, when 20 deaths were reported.
