Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Before today's kickoff Bison fans threw a tailgate party like they were outside the Fargodome.
The band got things pepped up this morning as hundreds of fans made an alley to cheer the team on as they got to the stadium. It looked like college game day on ESPN. Then it was time to party, well continue partying.
Archie Arechigo: "Started at 6 this morning. What was for breakfast? You're looking at it."
"About 6 this morning. Breakfast? Little bit it was hard to hold it down.
John Ness: "Got here at about 8:30 we were planning on leaving the hotel at 7 but 730 we were out of there. What's for breakfast? Funyuns and beer. Breakfast of champions we just want to make it to game time that's our goal right now."
But by the looks of it most people opted for the huge tailgate party.
Eric Mairs: "We tailgate back home we didn't know what to expect but it's no different than back home."
Jesse Rasmusson: "The only thing different is no Fargodome in the background but you got all the people, it's a good time."
In the middle of the chaos we found this, players from the '86 bison team looking at an old photo album of their championship, with the hope they and everyone else here would see another today.
