Frisco, TX (WDAY TV) -- NDSU quarterback Brock Jensen is trying to join some rare company and become just the third quarterback in Bison history to win back-to-back national titles.
A big reason NDSU is here is QB Brock Jensen, who's racked up 31 wins in his 3 years at NDSU. And has had to deal with more criticism this year, despite all those wins.
Jensen: "It's a learning process, the QB. Can't get too high or low. You're gonna have games where people say you played great and then games when you could've been much better. Just comes with the position."
Brock has never liked to lose, doesn't take losing very well. And especially those times where he feels mostly responsible for those losses. There's not a lot that needs to be said at those times.
Jensen: "It's an attitude where no situation will frazzle or get to you. Gotta be able to bounce back and deal with any scenario. He's been part of some really good teams, too, this hasn't been a one man show by any means. He confident, got a lot of talent which has allowed him to do it a few different ways."
When their number is called, they're not afraid to step into those shoes and Brock's the same way. Been that way thru high school, his coach said that, he's a flat out winner.
Jensen: "I'm comfortable with my role and accept that risk of being a leader."
