Frisco, TX (WDAY TV) -- By this time tomorrow, Bison fans hope to be celebrating back-to-back national championships.

And if that's the case, long-time Bison athletic trainer Denis Isrow

will be smiling down from the heavens. Izzy passed away in early December,

but he's being honored down in Frisco.

Welcome back to Frisco and our continuing coverage of the FCS Championship Game. NDSU will play for it's tenth national title tomorrow and there will be one man on the minds of the Bison family, the man they knew as Izzy.

A lot of things we do in athletic training is still a direct result of what Izzy brought to the program. Anything from minor details to 'Once A Bison, Always A Bison.' Pride thing. I think not only myself, but a lot of other people including a lot of former players coming back will be getting the buttons also. The emotions will run a little high, we will be thinking about him that's for sure.

I think there is nobody, nobody out there that touched as many former players as what Izzy has.

Coming up in about an hour, we will profile Bison quarterback Brock Jenson. With a win tomorrow he can join the pantheon of great Bison quarterbacks.

Kick-off is less than 24 hours away, heck our 1-hour special Fargo to Frisco is only 3 and a half hours away, it airs tonight at 9 right here on WDAY. A great way to get pumped up for the game!
