Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) -- An American Eagle pilot has been arrested and suspended after failing a blood alcohol test in a plane at Minneapolis St. Paul airport.
He's 48-year-old Kolbjorn Kristiansen of Raleigh, North Carolina. An airport spokesman says before Kristiansen boarded the flight around 6:00 a.m., witnesses alerted airport police that he smelled like alcohol.
Officers gave him a Breathalyzer test and arrested him. Passengers had not yet boarded the flight to La Guardia, New York.
