Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Clay County commissioners took the oath of office on this first business day of 2013.
There's one newly elected commissioner on the board. Frank Gross, who serves district two.
Re-elected commissioners also took part. They included Wayne Ingersoll, Kevin Campbell, Grant Weyland, Jon Evert and Jerry Waller.
Following the oath, the clay county commission began its first official day of business in the new year.
The outgoing commission chair gave the state of Clay county address. Grant Weyland says the board pledges to listen to residents of Clay County.
Grant Weyland, Outgoing Chair: “The Clay county board of commissioners is committed to the delivery of services in an efficient, cost effective and professional manner. We place a high priority of communication with our citizens, and we welcome your input."
Following the address, the board elected Wayne Ingersoll as chair and Kevin Campbell as vice chair for 2013.
