(WDAY TV) -- North Dakota lawmakers start their work on the 2013 session next week.
It will be a session focused on oil. Industry insiders expect between 75 and 100 bills to be oil related. Many of those will deal with infrastructure impacts and how those are funded.
Lynn Helms, Director of Mineral Resources, says, "Oil taxes and the revenue and how that is generated and spent. Some new ideas on how to spend oil tax revenue is going to generate a dozen or so bills. There will be a lot of ideas in the regulatory arena in terms of how impacts ought to be dealt with."
The legislative session starts next Tuesday. It kicks off with Governor Dalrymple's State of the State Address.
