MSU Moorhead 63 Viterbo 53

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- The last time the MSU Moorhead men were on the court, the Dragons upset 11th ranked St. Cloud State, that was two weeks ago and it gave MSUM a share of the conference lead at Christmas break.

Today at Nemzek Hall, the Dragons were trying to set the tone for the 2nd half of the season, playing their final non-conference game against NAIA program Viterbo out of Lacrosse, Wisconsin.

The Dragons turned the ball over 14 times in the first half.

The Dragons trailed 31-28 at the half.

It was tied at 53 with 5 minutes to play, but the Dragons closed the game on a 10-0 run to avoid the upset, 63-53. Anthony Tucker scored 14 of his 16 team-high points to lead the floor.
