BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Safety Council is offering a training course to help prepare people in the case of an armed intruder.

The Bismarck Tribune reports the so-called Active Shooter Survival Training will be held Jan. 17 at Bismarck State College.

Schmit says the class costs $49. She says early applicants include school administrators, law enforcement officials and hospital employees.
