Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Anglers are being reminded that unoccupied fish houses left on the ice this winter must be made out of materials that will allow the structure to float.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department says fish houses that do not float must be removed if the angler leaves the ice.

Fish houses also can't be placed closer than 50 feet to another house without consent of the occupant of the other fish house.
