Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- If you've had the chance to get outside today, you know it's cold! Dangerous temperatures had people struggling all over town.
"This is winter"
And boy is winter brave...
"Thought we'd come down just for a couple slides."
The Walters are on their way back up...but temps are only going down, down and down.
"About three layers"
Mike knows what he's gotten himself into.
Mike Mitchell/blowing snow: "Coveralls work pretty good. And I got the hand warmers and the gloves, so it helps out."
But for someone who isn't used to our Mid-western days.
David Cruz/truck driver: "freezing! I can't say really, but it's cold. It's just freezing!."
He's traveled an awful lot of land and all sorts of weather.
David: "it's very cold out here. I'm from California and this is cold, the coldest I've ever been in yet."
It's so cold out, local law enforcement says it might have these lights, simply not working.
'It's North Dakota, what do you expect, right?"
Plenty of degrees below zero, but it was the windchill leaving lisa without a ride.
Lisa Ollestad/Car broke down: "We are changing the battery in my car cause it decided it didn't want to start, it's so cold."
So as the temps continue to fall, bundle up, as we all brave winter.
If you have to go outside makes sure to layer up. With wind chills sitting at only 20 degrees below zero, you can get frostbite with in 10 to 15 minutes.
