Larimore getting $300,000 wellness center

LARIMORE, N.D. (AP) — The northeastern North Dakota city of Larimore is getting a community wellness center.

The 1,700-square-foot addition to the Good Samaritan Society nursing home will have exercise, cardiovascular and rehabilitation equipment.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that the idea grew out of a 2010 survey in the community of 1,300 people west of Grand Forks. The community has raised more than $300,000 for the project.
