Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- When you think of the hottest teams in Fargo, the Bison football team may top the list, but the Fargo Force are so hot right now, they're starting to melt the ice.

The Force can extend it's winning streak to a season-high 5 games tonight with a win over Tri-City at Scheels Arena.

It would cap a solid weekend for John Marks and company, who shutout Cedar Rapids last night, 3-0. Wins are even more at a premium right now,

considering that just 3 points separate the top 5 teams in the Western Conference.

Dave Gust says, "If you go 0 and 2 one weekend you could go from being in second to seventh. So every game is a big game. You always want to beat teams above you and not lose to teams below you so if we want to keep moving up in the standings we gotta win those games."

Brendan Harms says, "We have been talking about that the last month or so, every game is huge. Two points tonight is huge for us and if we can get a win that would be great for us."

The puck drops at 7:05 tonight, we'll have highlights tonight at 10.
