Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Salvation Army's red kettles are a little emptier this season.
The group was hoping for 825 thousand dollars in donations this year. So far, it's raised only 615 thousand dollars. But, there's still some time left.
Bell-ringers will be out with their kettles until Christmas Eve. The money provides food, clothes, toys, transportation, and rent and utility assistance to those in need.
