Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Some would call it a Christmas miracle for several families in the Red River Valley.
A number of "layaway angels" have stopped by Fargo's Kmart. They're anonymous donors who pay off the holiday layaway bills for families, mostly covering their remaining costs for children's items like clothes and toys.
Donations come in all amounts, one this year totaling 3-thousand dollars, going to three customers who otherwise couldn't afford the gifts they hoped to give.
Nick Bosh, Kmart Store Manager, says, "I tell you what, if they could see the look on these customers' faces when they pick up these layaways, it's, it's amazing."
Most customers don't know their bills have been paid, until they come into the store.
