Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Bison Men's basketball team will wrap up the 1st half of it's schedule tomorrow night looking for a 10th win in 13 tries. This is the 2nd straight year NDSU has started fast.
Last year the Bison raced out to a 6-0 start before a 4-13 finish, they've
heard the comparisons, but say this is a different team with different goals.
Nate Zastrow, NDSU Sr. Guard, says, "feels great, that was one of our goals was to get to 10 wins before Christmas, played pretty well, get another win on Friday, same position as last year more mature this year, something
we built on last year, we know what we got to do."
Mike Felt, NDSU Junior Guard, says, "Biggest difference, finishing games, doing a good job, getting a lead not letting teams back in, getting a lot
of road wins and that's good."
Some news out of the team today, sophomore guard Joel Lindberg had season-ending knee surgery yesterday, he had been battling tendonitis, so he'll redshirt this season.
