Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The clock is ticking down to Christmas.

And if your kids have one last thing to add to the list to send to Santa, if they want to check on his reindeer to make sure they're ready for the big flight or even track Santa on Christmas eve to make sure he's headed your way. There's an app for that.

We've seen it in the movies and on TV, and it likely replays in your own home, the excitement for Christmas can be killer for kids. But thanks to technology they can get in on the holiday action even before Christmas Eve.

Say your little prince or princess just remembered what they "REALLY" want for Christmas. Or maybe were right on the line of the good or bad list. You can download the Letter to Santa app from the Apple Market and send a letter or 5 to Santa in a flash. The best part, you'll get a letter back, sometimes in minutes.

The outbox is great for parents to see what their kids have asked Santa to put under the tree. You also have access to a Christmas coloring book.

Here's an app for the non-believers out there. The ReindeerCam app that shows you Santa's reindeer live.

At 10 am, 5 pm and 8 pm everyday through Christmas Eve you can watch as Santa and an elf, and sometimes their pet goat in a sweater feed the reindeer.

And on Christmas Eve, the people who have tracked Santa for years can now help you track his flight on your smart phone. With the NORAD Tracks Santa app, You can watch the days and seconds countdown, then follow Santa's progress on the big night!

The app, which is available in both the apple and google play markets also features the game Thin Ice to entertain the kids. You try to get the presents to Santa by tipping your tablet. And lets just say it's not as easy at looks.

There are a ton of Christmas related apps on the Apple and Google Play Markets and many are free
