North Dakota is setting records in population growth

North Dakota (WDAY TV) -- North Dakota is the fastest growing state in the country. And it's population is setting a new all-time record.

North Dakota (WDAY TV) -- North Dakota is the fastest growing state in the country. And it's population is setting a new all-time record.

Since the 2010 census, North Dakota's population has grown by more than

27-thousand. That's according to estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.

It's about 400 shy of 700-thousand people living in the state. That's more than the previous record set in 1930. The state has grown in 8 of the past 9-years. More than 20-thousand non-farming jobs have been added during that time.
