Threat rumor at Moorhead High School brings in extra security

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- A rumor of a threat at Moorhead High prompted extra police patrols at the school this morning.
Police say they looked into the rumors yesterday, and found them to be false but stationed an extra officer at the school for peace of mind. Rumors of a threat spread through social media.
Some parents decided to keep their kids home from school for the day. School officials and Moorhead Police declined to comment on camera.
