Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Oak Grove students took their last day of school before Christmas break to help others.
Middle school students made fleece tie-blankets for the Ronald McDonald House. They hunkered down in the Darwin Gorder gymnasium to bring some comfort to families.
The students say it's a nice change of pace from their everyday schoolwork.
Emily Card, 8th Grade Student: "You get to help kids, and you're having fun at the same time, so I guess it's like a win-win situation. And you have a really good feeling when you help someone else."
After the blankets were finished, they were blessed in the chapel and given to a Ronald McDonald house representative.
