Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - This morning you might have noticed heavy equipment on Broadway.

Crews have been working a year on what is called the "Loretta" complex. First, workers demolished the Kilbourne building. Now they're in the process of rebuilding.

From ceiling to floor, the commercial building is on its way to being completely remodeled. Today Meinecke-Johnson contractors are facing the cold to replace new partitions. But you may have to wait a bit longer to gain back these parking spots.

Conrad Bueng, Meinecke-Johnson Co.: "I've been on here for over a year now, and hopefully we'll be done by next summer."

Bueng says everyone downtown benefits from this facelift. No word on how much the reconstruction costs.
