Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Christmas will now have a little cheer, for some local less fortunate children and their families.

The F-M Builders Exchange and Salvation Army teamed up for the Stocking Stuffers program. 60 local children received 100-dollar Walmart gift cards to buy gifts for themselves and their families.

Volunteer chaperones helped them choose items to fill their carts.

Amy Espeseth, office manager, says, "I think it brings to our members and just the community in general just a sense of fulfillment and the excitement of being able to give back."

The gift cards came out of donations given by local companies and individuals.
