Gas has dipped below $3.00 in West Fargo

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- And take a look at this. Just in time for holiday travel, gas has dipped below 3 dollars a gallon in the metro.

The sign read $2.99 at R-J's in West Fargo. It's been about a year since prices have been this low in the metro.

Nationwide, a gallon of gasoline cost $3.30.
