Menorah to be lit at North Dakota Capitol
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A 6-foot menorah will be lit at the North Dakota Capitol on Thursday in celebration of Hanukkah.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A 6-foot menorah will be lit at the North Dakota Capitol on Thursday in celebration of Hanukkah.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that last year first-ever public menorah lighting at the Capitol.
Rabbi Yonah Grossman of Fargo will officiate at this year's menorah lighting at 4 p.m.
The Jewish Festival of Lights commemorates the miracle of the menorah burning for eight days when there was enough oil to burn for just one.
