Retired Larimore counselor sentenced after hiring 17-year-old girl for sex

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Prosecutors have charged the first alleged client and he's a retired high school counselor. 60 year-old Michael Delmore of Grand Forks retired this spring after years as a counselor at Larimore High School.
Larimore, ND (WDAY TV) - A retired Larimore High School counselor has pleaded guilty to hiring a 17-year-old girl for sex.
A judge sentenced 60-year-old Michael Delmore to 15 days in jail and placed on probation for one year after pleading guilty to three misdemeanor charges. He must also pay $750 in court fees and fines.
Delmore was a customer of two men and a woman who prostituted the girl in what police call a 'sex ring' in Grand Forks last year.
Delmore was a high school counselor in Larimore for more than 20 years.
