Dilworth police chief addresses dispute issue for first time

Dilworth, MN (WDAY TV) - For the first time, we hear from Dilworth's police chief regarding a dispute that appears to be dividing the police department.

Chief Joshua Ebert's officers say they want him to step down, and on Monday, they went to the city council asking for help.

Police Chief Joshua Ebert, Dilworth: “As police chief, I've treated all employees of this department fairly, ethically and professionally. I intend in supporting the overall mission of the police department by working with the officers to resolve their concerns, in a construction and appropriate manner with the process set forth by the city of Dilworth. I have not asked to resign and I will not voluntarily resign.”
