Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Fargo Police are taking their use of social media to a whole new level.

It's started tweeting. With the popularity of social media, the department has started a Twitter account to reach more people in the community and keep the community safe..

The department already has a facebook page. On both sites, you can find notices, crime prevention tips, when sex offenders move, or public safety videos. Police say it's just another tool they can use.
