Bismarck, ND (WDAY TV) - One of North Dakota's fallen guard soldiers today returned home to a heroes welcome.

Specialist Tyler Orgaard's remains were returned to his hometown of Bismarck today. The flag-draped casket greeted by family, friends, and fellow soldiers, then got a military escort and powerful salute.

The 20 year old Orgaard and 41 year old Sgt. Darren M. Linde were killed a week ago by an IED while conducting route clearance operations in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Linde was returned to loved ones in Sidney, Montana Sunday. Funerals for both men will happen later this week.
