Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- There's an eye catching side story at the NDSU-UND basketball game.
Both coaches walked the hardwood barefoot. It's to raise money for Samaritan's Feet.
NDSU grad school alumnus Manny Ohomne created the organization to get shoes for children around the world. He was 9, living in a small African village when he got his first pair of shoes.
Ohomne says, "Over half the population of the world cannot afford shoes. Three hundred million kids woke up this morning in Africa alone without shoes on their feet. Close to about a million people will either lose their lives or feet amputated because of parasites and infections that come into the feet."
Tonights goal was to raise enough donations for 10-thousand pairs of shoes
