Sidney, MT (WDAY TV) -- The body of a North Dakota National Guard soldier killed in action is now with his family.
Flags are at half mast in Sidney, Montana today to honor 41-year-old Sargent First Class Darren Linde of Devils Lake. Linde died when his vehicle hit a roadside bomb.
Local police escorts stood by as a solemn dignified transfer of remains was conducted by the Military Funeral Honors Team.
20-year-old Specialist Tyler Orgaard of Bismarck, also died in the attack
