Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- In less than a month, a Fargo woman leaves to represent North Dakota at the Miss America pageant.

Rosie Sauvageau modeled some of her competition wardrobe during a send-off celebration tonight. She's spent the past six months preparing and promoting her platform, "Celebrate Diversity." The musician, who also released an original album yesterday, performed a few songs for her supporters.

Sauvegeau says, "I'm probably the most excited for the talent competition. That's always my favorite part. I'm really excited to be able to play piano and sing. I'm doing a Bob Dylan song, who's also one of my favorite midwestern boys. So, I'm really excited to be able to do that on the national stage."

You can help Rosie at Miss America by voting in the "People's Choice" competition online. The winner will automatically get a spot in the top 15.

Miss America airs January 12th on ABC.
