Firefighters battle a house fire in Bemidji

Bemidji, MN (WDAY TV) -- And all that practice is necessary for situations like this. In Bemidji this morning, firefighters battled a blaze that started near the chimney of wood stove.

Bemidji, MN (WDAY TV) -- And all that practice is necessary for situations like this. In Bemidji this morning, firefighters battled a blaze that started near the chimney of wood stove.

It happened about 3:30 in a home along Hubbard County Road 9. Crews put it out right as it started moving into the house's upper level.

About 20 firefighters battled the blaze for 2 hours. There were no injuries.
