Underwood man dies after being hit in Perham

Perham, MN (WDAY TV) -- An Underwood man died and his wife was injured when the two were hit by a pick up while crossing a street in Perham .
Perham, MN (WDAY TV) -- An Underwood man died and his wife was injured when the two were hit by a pick up while crossing a street in Perham .
Police say 74 year old Marilyn and 74 year old David Beighley were walking across Perham's Main Street in an area not controlled by a crosswalk or intersection when they were hit about 2 p.m. yesterday.
The driver of the pick-up was an 85-year-old male from Perham David was transported to Sanford. He died from his injuries. Marilyn was treated and released in Perham.
