NDSU get 9th verbal commit for 2013 class

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - In recent years, NDSU has made a habit of grabbing the best high school football players in the state and have sprinkled them all over the roster from Ryan Smith to Travis Beck to Ryan Drevlow.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - In recent years, NDSU has made a habit of grabbing the best high school football players in the state and have sprinkled them all over the roster from Ryan Smith to Travis Beck to Ryan Drevlow.

Jeff Illies hopes he'll be the next in line. The Wyndmere-Lidgerwood standout verbally committed today.

Illies has been a 1st team North Dakota All-State player for the Warbirds each of the last two years. He was a 2nd team standout in 2010 when Wyndmere-Lidgerwood won the state title. He had offers from MSUM and Valley City State. He's the 9th commit for the 2013 class.
